What if the weather is bad?
We recommend booking near the start of your trip, just in case. We’ve shot for over a decade and only had a handful of rainouts, since showers usually pass in 5 to 10 minutes. If shooting really isn’t possible, we reschedule for free.
What should we wear?
For the beach, whites, teals, neutrals and blues look great. We’d skip busy prints and stripes, but it’s totally up to you.
Can I change outfits?
Absolutely! Many beaches don’t have restrooms close by, so ask for our pop-up changing tent ahead of time.
What’s your cancellation policy?
You get a full deposit refund up to 24 hours before your shoot. Within 24 hours, we’re unfortunately unable to refund it.
Which location do you recommend?
On Oahu, our favorite is Lanikai Beach at sunrise or mid-morning. Around Destin and 30A, we’ll match the spot to your look and the time of year.
Can we shoot somewhere not listed?
Usually! If it’s a public spot, just ask. For our photographers’ safety, we don’t shoot portraits at private homes, condos, Airbnbs or hotel rooms. Private wedding venues are the exception.
